As far as peculiarity goes, there’s nothing quite like Lewis’ Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” story — from its land of croquet flamingos to its height altering potions and extremely tardy white rabbits. In addition to all of these wonders, something else “Alice in Wonderland” gives us is the opportunity to tell these stories through makeup — whether that’s an Alice-inspired everyday tutorial or a Cheshire cat Halloween look. To celebrate these characters during this peculiar time of year, we rounded up the best makeup products to achieve four of our favorite character looks. Alice

Alice-inspired makeup is something we’d love to embody all day every day, simply because it’s simple, flushed and youthful in every way. Inspired by her rosy cheeks, get the look with a wash of the Lancôme Monochromatique in the shade S’il Vous Plait all over your cheeks, temples and a little on your nose. To mimic her gorgeous blue eyes, line your lower lash line with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Chaos. Mad Hatter
