This Drugstore Makeup Beat is Everything You Need Right Now — Featuring the New L’Oréal Paris Paradise Collection
Few things in life are better than eyeshadow and fruity-scented things (see our middle school locker for proof) — and when they’re combined in creamy, pigmented, delicious smelling makeup, the results are always a win. Cue the L’Oréal Paris Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette, a summery palette with 12 creamy shades that pair well together in an endless combination of eyeshadow looks. To create a look just for us, we enlisted the help of makeup artist Justine Sweetman. Inspired by the “deep bronze colors” in the palette, she created “something fun and fresh with a little drama” — perfect for a summer party.
Get the look, ahead:
STEP 1: Begin by applying eyeshadow shade #9 into the crease and blending it out with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Next, apply shade #6 on top and blend into the crease — be careful not to buff this shade out too much; you want the colors to pop! To add dimension to the eye, apply shade #11 to the outer corner of the eye and lightly blend. Finally, place shade #4 in the center of the lid. Feel free to use your fingers during this step for a vibrant, shimmery effect.
STEP 2: To complete the look, use L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Liquid Liner — a long-lasting liner pen — and create a wing. For added drama, outline the bottom of the wing with a shimmery shade like the L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Liquid Liner in Rose Gold.
STEP 3: Next, prime your lashes with L’Oréal Paris Lash Paradise Voluminous Lash Primer. Formulated with rose oil, it helps boost lashes and enhance the final look.
STEP 4: Follow up with the fan favorite L’Oréal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara for long and separated lashes.
STEP 5: Warm up the skin using L’Oréal Paris Enchanted Fruit-Scented Blush in a shade that best complements your skin. (Aliyah, pictured above, wears the shade Fantastical.)
STEP 6: Finish off the look with a clear gloss and your favorite highlighter.
