Among my many beloved eyeshadow palettes sitting in a basket on my makeup vanity is my poor, beat-up Urban Decay Naked3 palette. My mom gifted me the palette when I was in high school and a lot less aware about how to use eyeshadow — let alone how to apply the right smoky eye for my eye shape or to make the green in my hazel eyes stand out. Flash forward to present day, and this palette is still a staple in my makeup collection — even though the shades “Limit” and “Liar” are practically depleted. Unsurprisingly, Urban Decay Naked palettes are beloved by many beauty gurus and are practically considered a right of passage into the world of eyeshadow palettes in general. As pricey as they may be to the aspiring makeup enthusiast, they have the potential to last through it all — my exhausted Naked 3 palette serving as a prime example. It is perfect mix of cool and warm tones, mattes and shimmers.”Ashley Hall“My favorite would have to be the original Naked Palette. The shade Half Baked is the perfect golden bronze shade.”Heidi Guttenberg “I’m a Naked Palette hoarder. I have them all.
