3 Red Carpet Celebrity Nail Looks (Including Constance Wu’s!) to Try for Under $15

If you’re anything like us, you’re still swooning over some of the red carpet looks from last night. And honestly how could you not be? Every last detail, down to the manicures, was perfect. Ahead, we rounded up three red carpet-worthy nail looks worn by Lady Gaga, Constance Wu and Kristin Cavallari that you can recreate at home for under $15 using Essie nail products.

Lady Gaga’s Natural Nail Look

Lady Gaga really grabbed our attention with her "Breakfast at Tiffany’s" look in a stunning black Alexander McQueen dress and dazzling Tiffany & Co. jewelry. “Tonight was incredibly special for Lady Gaga,” says her manicurist Miho Okawara. “She looked every bit the true star that she is! To complete her show-stopping look, I used one coat of Essie’s new spring 2019 Stirring Secrets shade, which worked perfectly with her hair and makeup.” Okawara prepped Gaga’s nails with the Essie Here to Stay Base Coat and followed up with a single swipe Stirring Secrets. To seal the nail deal, Okawara used the brand’sSpeed Setter Top Coat.

Constance Wu’s Deep Red Nail Look

Actress Constance Wu stepped on the red carpet in a whimsical yellow, custom Versace gown and a sleek high ponytail. Her manicurist, Christina Aviles, used a blood red shade from Essie’s Gel Couture line called spiked With Style. “It added an element of coolness to her princess-like dress,” says Aviles. “The result is belle of the ball with some edge.”

Kristin Cavallari’s Barely There Polish

As a red carpet host for the evening, Kristin Cavallari looked as elegant as ever in a black embellished dress by Burnett New York. To create her nail look, celebrity manicurist Merrick Fisher blended two Essie polish shades together. “Kristin still has a beautiful post-vacation glow, so we decided a nude nail was the perfect complement to her tan skin,” explains Fisher. “To create the look, I used one coat of Essie At the Barre, followed by one coat of Sheer Silhouette.”
