Nordstrom Wants to Give You a Free Beauty Consultation
Take a moment to reflect on a time when you could have really benefited from a personal beauty stylist. Perhaps you could have used someone to tell you how to do your eye makeup for prom, or maybe direct you to a face mask that’s formulated for your specific skin type. The easiest way to take charge of the situation is to take to Google for some answers, but having someone with you in real life to help you out makes thing so much easier. With that being said, let us introduce you to Nordstrom Stylists, a special in-store and online program in which Nordstrom employees customize beauty appointments to fit your specific needs. Did we mention that it’s totally free?
How It Works
The first step is to make an appointment online or by calling your local Nordstrom location. Before your appointment, your personal stylist will contact you by phone or email to get some more insight into what you're looking for, along with your personal preferences, likes, dislikes, goals and budget. When you arrive at your appointment, your stylist will already have beauty items handpicked based on what you requested. Clearly, this is a service every beauty lover needs to experience at least once in a lifetime. Your wedding? A random Tuesday? We encourage you to test it out, no matter the occasion.
What Will Happen
Depending on your request, your Nordstrom beauty stylist will pair you with a complimentary beauty consultant to help you find the perfect products from across all brands and counters. Say, if you’re looking for the perfect blush for your skin tone or maybe a new, fruity fragrance for spring, you’ll be met with a variety of options to look at and test (with expert help) upon arrival. This includes makeup, skin care, hair care and fragrances. And if you fall in love with something but don’t want to purchase it just yet, Nordstrom has a beauty sampling program that includes almost every beauty product available. The latter is a game-changer if you’d had your eye on some fancy products for a while but don’t yet know if they’re worth the splurge.
You Can 100% Trust Them
Along with product recs based on your beauty goals or needs, your beauty stylist will offer you advice on their honest opinion on what works and what doesn’t — so you can trust that you won’t look insane when you debut that new lip color or hair accessory in the real world. If you’re super busy or maybe you’d just prefer some help via the Internet, Nordstrom also has beauty stylists available by email. Simply contact [email protected] explaining what you’re looking for.
