24 Beauty Products Our Editors Are Obsessed With for August
It’s a brand new month, which means a new round of products is making their way onto store shelves and into our makeup bags. These are the products Makeup.com’s editors can’t live without this August.

Lancôme Brow Density Powder to Cream
After a brow artist recently brought to my attention just how lopsided my eyebrows are (thanks, lady!), I’m doubling down on filling them in. This formula has a great consistency — it starts as a powder but blends like a cream — stays put all day, and really helps my brows look done (and even).
Elemis Luxury Travel Collection designed by Lily and Lionel
I live for a travel kit, and this one is too cute for words. It has tons of great skin care minis, and I’ll be using the awesome oversized bag for years to come.
Rahua Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner
I usually go at least six months between haircuts, even though my split ends hate me for it. I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner since my last cut (oh, five and a half months ago), and I barely have a single frayed end — it’s that good. Plus, it’s gentle and natural and sustainably sourced. There’s so much to love.
Sydney, Creative Producer
Not only is this mask a skin saver before, during or after a flight, it has also saved my skin after a few unfortunate summer sunburns. Would highly recommend if you’re heading on a last-minute summer vacay.
NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss in Praline
This gives me just enough gloss and just enough color to go with my involuntarily "dewy" New-York-in-August skin. It’s also the most gorgeous neutral brown that suits just about any skin tone.
IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin CC+ Skin-Perfecting Brush #702
I didn’t think I would ever have strong feelings about a makeup brush, but these feelings are real. This is the perfect brush to apply a full face of makeup that does not look like a full face of makeup.

L’Oréal Paris Boost & Set Brow Mascara
I don't like too much product on my brows, and this is a really nice in-between pay-off. The wand is very flexible and allows me to comb out my brows in a really accurate and clean way.
NYX Professional Makeup Away We Glow Liquid Booster
I really like the look of an all-over dewy finish. With a drop of product, the NYX Away We Glow Booster help me achieve a subtle highlight super easily and a little goes quite a long way.
Applying mascara to my lower lashes is always a struggle — a lot of mascaras end up being way too clumpy, but Icon seriously changes the game. The wand on this mascara is super skinny, which helps make application to the lower lashes very easy and clean.

Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda Free Lavender Deodorant
Deodorant isn't a sexy product to talk about, but this one is baking soda free so it doesn't irritate my underarms, it's moisturizing, smells great and comes in 100% recyclable packaging.
NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation
One of my holy grail foundations, especially during the summer when I don't want my makeup to feel caked on. It's lightweight, matches my skin perfectly, covers up redness and discoloration while letting my freckles show through, and two or three drops is enough to cover your whole face so the bottle lasts a long time. 10/10!
The only highlighter I've ever hit pan on, this is a makeup bag staple. The shade Siberian Gold is gorgeous but not overly blinding, and I like to highlight my décolletage and shoulders when it's strapless dress season.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Pillow Pump XXL Plumping Lip Gloss in Clearvoyant
I've tried a ton of plumping lip glosses, and this is the best one I've ever used thus far. You can really feel your lips plumping (super amounts of tingling), and you'll see actual results too. I can't recommend this enough if you're on the hunt for the perfect plumping gloss.
Naturally By Stevi Christine Detailed Eyebrow Definer in Light
I recently got my hands on this sleek eyebrow pencil, and I've used it every day since. I'm naturally a brunette, but I used this pencil in the shade "light" to achieve natural looking, defined brows. This pencil makes for super easy application when you're on the go or looking to get your brows done fast.
Cosrx Oil Free Moisturizing Lotion
I'm currently loving this moisturizing lotion because it's the perfect formula for the summer months. I have dry skin, and when it's hot out I don't like layering my skin with rich, heavy product. This formula is so lightweight, refreshing and its scent is a little lemony in the most addictive, yummy way. This is also great for all skin tones so I highly recommend to all.

Sol de Janeiro Copacabana Bronze Glow Oil
If there’s anything I can never leave summer without, it’s my tan. That’s why I’m always searching for products that keep it lasting and glowing for early fall days and weeks to come — and the Sol de Janeiro Copacabana Bronze Glow Oil has done just the trick. This stuff is nicely pigmented, really soothing and literally makes my skin glow.
The end of summer also calls for a great exfoliator, and the Frank Body Shimmer Scrub has been my go-to. This stuff is glorious — you leave it on the skin for a few minutes and wash it off for the softest finish and that’s right, subtle *sparkle*. Plus, the packaging is cool as all heck, and who wouldn’t want to add a some disco to their shower stash?
I found my new favorite face product this summer, and I’m definitely taking it with me as we transition into fall. The IT Cosmetics Matte CC+ Cream is literally a god-send for those like myself who are often plagued by moody skin texture. It keeps me matte for hours, and has the perfect coverage and consistency to fit my needs. I’m totally enamored.

KISS Products Blowout Lashes in Pompadour
There are few things I love more than a dramatic false lash, particularly ones that look like they’re growing out of my lids. I love the entire Blowout collection from KISS — they make it look like I #wokeuplikethis. The band is thin, the lashes are soft and they’re cruelty free. They’re also reusable, so you can reach for these time and time again.
NYX Professional Makeup Sliptease Lip Lacquer
Somewhere between a lipgloss and a lipstick you’ll find the Sliptease Lip Lacquer. This new drop from NYX has already earned a spot on my holy grail list (I love the shade Shady), and I keep it in my bag at all times. There are 23 other shades and at $10 I can collect one in every shade without feeling guilty.
Profusion Cosmetics Siennas Eyeshadow Palette
I was recently introduced to the brand at a deskside and I was absolutely blown away. The shadows are creamy, pigmented and the colors are stunning. It’s also super affordable so it’s the perfect palette for someone like me who likes to play in her makeup and practice her blending skills.
Chizi, Social Media Coordinator
This foundation is lightweight but has full coverage, which I love. It seriously feels like skin — and literally, no one can detect I'm wearing makeup. It also does an excellent job at combatting shine and keeping my skin matte for hours. 10/10 overall.
Glamazon Beauty Hydrating Lip Gloss
This gloss is super moisturizing, and gives me a great pop when I’m wearing a natural makeup look. It also smells like bubblegum, which is also amazing — yum!
Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink in Protector
I love a dark vampy lip, and this matte formula is great because it's not super drying and doesn't cake up on my lips. It has amazing pigmentation and seriously doesn’t budge an inch throughout the day.
