Influencers Review the Lancôme L’Absolu Lacquer Gloss

In case you missed it, gloss has made a major comeback, and we’re not mad at it. While there are lots of formulas we revisit time and time again, the newest release from Lancôme might just claim a top spot on our holy grail list. A hybrid product — this lippie is the best parts of a gloss, lip stain and lipstick — L’Absolu Lacquer is a longwear, high-shine lip color that delivers on pigment without sacrificing shine or comfortability. It’s also formulated with glycerin to ensure your lips stay supple and hydrated throughout the day. In other words, it’s perfect. It’s currently available in 30 (!) shades, so you’re bound to find a color you’ll love. At $34 a tube, it’s a little pricier than your average drugstore buy, but definitely worth it.

Perfect for Keeping It Natural

“The coverage of this product is light,” says M Crowd influencer Madison. “Not highly pigmented but just enough to add a pretty shine to the lip.This is perfect for the girl who wants a very natural everyday gloss to keep in her purse.”

It’s Super Shiny

“The Lancome L’Absolu Lacquer goes on easily and does feel a bit slippery when you first apply it,” says Ashley. “It has great pigment right off the bat, and it dries down a bit and becomes less slippery with a high shine finish, much like a gloss. It’s comfortable to wear — doesn’t feel sticky and doesn’t feel drying at all. I’d definitely recommend!”

Add a Liner

M Crowd influencer Lonyea wished it had more coverage but has a great tip: “If you choose to use this product, I do recommend you use a lip liner under to slightly fill in your lips.”
