What is CC Cream?

A CC Cream, or colour correcting cream, acts as a lightweight foundation that has a light, whipped feeling on the skin. Think of it as getting the coverage of a foundation without the lightweight texture of a tinted moisturizer.
A CC cream often acts as your sun protection while it evens out your complexion like a tinted moisturizer and covers small imperfections and redness like a concealer. CC creams do a great job when it comes to brightening up dull complexions, and they often contain anti-aging ingredients!

The beauty of CC cream is that you can wear it alone on days when you don’t want to wear much makeup or want a more natural finish, but you can also wear it with a smoky eye too! One thing to note is that because the coverage is not quite as intense as a traditional foundation, the shade range for a lot of CC creams isn’t too broad. That’s not to say you can’t find your perfect match, but you may need to look a bit harder.
CC creams make a great option though if you are looking to streamline your beauty routine. They will save you a ton of time in the morning when you’re getting ready for the day and the natural glow they give your skin is unbeatable!
