The Best Faux-Bleached Brow Tutorials On the Internet

Beauty vlogger PICTURRESQUE I Regina proves that you can achieve the bleached brow look even if you have dark bushy brows. First, take a nude pot eyeliner or primer, like the NYX Professional Makeup Eyeshadow Base and brush it evenly through your brows with a spoolie until fully saturated. To lighten up any remaining hairs, take a blonde root spray and gently paint over the spots with an angled brush.

The Neutralized Brow

For an ultra natural effect, beauty YouTuber Donayah uses brow gel (our favorite is the L’Oréal Paris Unbelieva-Brow Longwear Clear Top Coat) to first tame her eyebrows and lock them in place. Next, dip a clean spoolie into your concealer and gently brush it through your eyebrows to lighten them. You can either end your look there, or give your brows a little more definition by using a lighter concealer shade to outline them.

The Blonde Brow

Here, YouTuber Abii Jones showcases the simplest way to achieve the bleached brow look on dark skin tones. All she uses is a cream colored eyeshadow to shape and fill in her brows.

The Slicked-Back Brow

No matter how dark your eyebrows are, the key is to first slick them back before attempting to lighten them with makeup, explains YouTuber Vanity Rouge. In this tutorial, she uses a skin-safe glue stick to push her brows back before filling them in with concealer.

The Concealed Brow

For a multidimensional look where darker brow hairs are still peeking through, try this two-toned concealer trick from YouTuber Genelle. First she goes in with a pink-toned concealer to neutralize her darker brow hairs then tops it off with a concealer that’s about two shades lighter than her skin tone to highlight and lighten. We recommend using the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer to achieve this look.
