Nikkie Tutorials is Working With Maybelline and We’re Already Obsessed

Maybelline has been breaking the internet with their influencer collabs and this news is no different: In their latest link up they’ve tapped beauty guru Nikkie de Jager —known to her 7M subscribers as NikkieTutorials — for a Youtube Series titled: Makeup Like This! Even if you don’t subscribe to her channel, you’ve probably seen her “Power of Makeup” video where de Jager covers half of her face in makeup to address the makeup shaming she encountered on social media. Since then, she’s taken the world by storm, helping millions of beauty junkies find their holy grail products and master difficult makeup techniques. De Jager does fun things on her channel, too (a certain full face highlighter video comes to mind) and uses her infectious personality to make putting on makeup fun. When she was tapped to host a series with the iconic drugstore brand, she was in love from the very start. “Maybelline provides an amazing platform for beauty and makeup and I am a firm believer in supporting the next generation of beauty stars,” says de Jager.

Every week, micro-influencers (chosen by NikkieTutorials herself) join the beauty expert to tackle the biggest beauty trends on over social media, each episode giving you a new tutorial or hack. Word on the street is you may even see some unreleased product (!!). In the first episode she teams up with @theheather123 to tackle the cut-crease, one of the buzziest eye makeup looks on the ‘gram. The look may seem complicated, but Nikkie and Heather break it down step by step and make it easy for everyone to try. The two are hilarious together, and by the end a cut crease seems almost easy. The show airs bi-weekly and will be available to watch on Maybelline’s Youtube channel.
