Every once in a while a backstage makeup look happily takes you by surprise and makes you want to work into your routine (if not wear it all the time). Such was the case with the makeup at the Cushnie Fall/Winter 2019 show. It was love at first sight and had all the trappings of a good makeup look: universally flattering, easy to recreate and a little innovative. The show, lead by Maybelline New York Global Makeup Artist Grace Lee, featured a monochrome terracotta look. Lee chose the trending shade to contrast the “black, berry and blue” pieces in the show and swiped it on models’ eyes, cheeks and lips.
