We live in a world where brows are more important than most things, and quite frankly, they deserve to be. When we commit to the no-makeup-makeup look, paying a little extra attention to our brows is just what we need to look our absolute best. And that’s because eyebrows are crucial to your overall makeup look — they really do frame the face.

The good news is you don’t have to sport squiggly brows to earn brow compliments; making your brows a little thicker, bolder and more defined will do the trick. So whether you feel like you’re eyebrows are nonexistent or that they need a more defined shape, we’ve put together the perfect step-by-step guide for you, using the cult-favorite Maybelline Brow Drama Pro Palette.

Follow these steps for amazing thick brows:

1. Brush through your brows with a spoolie. Run a spoolie through your brows and brush them towards your hairline to help better reveal your natural shape and expose gaps that need to be filled.  2.  Set brows with sculpting wax.  Using the angled brush, apply the wax in an upward motion and short strokes to sculpt your brows. This will help hold your eyebrows in place, as well as give the brow pigment something to hold onto. 3. Fill in gaps with pigment powder. Color your brows with pigment powder to add thickness using the other side of the brush. Pick up pigment, and swipe through brows. Start in the center and blend out towards the tail of your brow. Without adding more pigment to the brush, run it through the inner corners. Focus on the arch and tail of your eyebrow, rather than the front end. 4.  Add a touch of highlighter to your brow bone. Using your finger, apply highlighter just below the arch of your brow to accentuate your brow shape. 5. Brush and blend. A final brush through with your spoolie will help blend and soften any obvious lines.
