Here’s How to Get This Hot Pink, Rhinestone-Studded Eye Makeup Look
April 20, 2022-
STEP 1:
Build Your Base
Start by priming your lids with an eyeshadow primer, such as the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Next, blend a light pink shadow through your crease. Here, I used the shade second from the right in the second row of the NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Shadow Palette in Brights.

STEP 2:
Deepen the Inner and Outer Corners
To create a halo-eye effect, use a small smudger brush to pack on a hot pink shadow in the inner and outer corners. I used the neon pink shade second from the left in the first row of the NYX palette.

STEP 3:
Add a Wash of Shimmer
Next, use your finger to sweep on a sheer layer of shimmer, starting at the center of the lid and extending the color all the way up to the brow bone. This gives the look more of an editorial vibe. I used the shades Not a Bot and Static from the Urban Decay Naked Cyber Eyeshadow Palette.

STEP 4:
Apply Your Face Gems
To map out where you want your face gems to go, try drawing dots on your lids with white eyeliner. I wanted mine to land right above my crease. Once you’ve got the placement down, apply a tiny bit of lash glue in the areas you want to lay your gems. Allow the glue to get tacky, then place your rhinestones with tweezers or a dotting tool. My favorite face gems are these stickers from Amazon, which come in a variety of sizes.

STEP 5:
Add Your Finishing Touches
To complete the look, smudge hot pink eyeshadow along the lower lash line, then pile on the mascara (falsies are optional for this look). To finish off the face, I applied foundation, concealer and the Milani Cheek Kiss Blush in Pink Flirt, a bright pink shade that I also dabbed on the center of my lips. Finally, I lined my lips with the NYX Professional Makeup Epic Wear Liner Stick in Pink Spirit and topped it with a clear gloss.
