This Tiger Stripe Eyeliner Look Will Help You Channel Your Inner Cool Cat
June 01, 2020-
STEP 1: Apply Shadow All Over The Lid
Using the NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Brights Palette, we started by applying the lilac shade all over the lid into the crease. Be sure to use a few layers of the shadow to build it up to a bright, vibrant purple. (Pro Tip: It helps if you apply a primer underneath, like the Urban Decay Original Primer Potion).

STEP 2: Apply Your First Layer of Stripes
The key to creating the multi-striped finish is by layering your liners carefully. Here, we used the NYX Professional Makeup Epic Wear Liquid Liner in Lilac to create a double wing: one cat eye wing liner on the upper lash line and the other starting from the middle of the crease to the outer corner,. Next, add a stripe from the inner corner, extending to the halfway point of your crease and one final stripe above the crease, but below the brow bone. Make sure that the tip of each line is thin and small to replicate the tiger stripe finish.

STEP 3: Apply More Stripes
Using the NYX Professional Makeup Vivid Brights Liquid Liner in Vivid Petal, layer over each line you just created at the halfway point to create an ombré effect on each stripe.
-
STEP 4: Complete the Look
Finally, to intensify the eye makeup, use the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Last Liner in Purple on the waterline, and finish the look with a black mascara. Here, we used the L’Oréal Paris Bambi Eye Mascara to complete the animal-inspired look.
