For Glowy Skin, Try This Cold Weather Makeup Routine for Winter

STEP 1: Replace Mattifying Powders With Radiance-Boosting Liquids and Creams

Set your loose powders and mineral makeup aside until summer because right now, your skin needs all of the moisture it can get. That means reaching for a hydrating primer to start and following up with a foundation or CC cream that will give your skin an instant pearly glow. We like the Lancôme Prep & Hydrate Face Primer and Giorgio Armani Neo Nude Foundation

STEP 2: Experiment With Sparkly Makeup

If summer is all about a bare face and enhancing your natural beauty, then cold winter weather is the perfect opportunity to experiment with shimmery eye makeup. This can mean neutral or bright colors, cream or powder shadows — the choices are endless. For cream eyeshadow, we prefer Giorgio Armani Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow; for powder we like the Lancôme Hypnôse 5-Color Eyeshadow Palette

STEP 3: Swipe on Nourishing Lip Products

To help keep lips hydrated and smooth, opt for balms, glosses, lip oils and other moisturizing formulas over drying matte lippies . Two hydrating lipsticks that we love are the Kosas Rosewater Lipstick and L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Shine Lipstick. For a glossy finish, try the IT Cosmetics Pillow Lips Solid Serum Gloss. It’s formula is made with collagen, hyaluronic acid and a tri-oil complex to offer the moisturizing care of lip balm with a sheer tint of color.
