Reflection Time: Here’s a Look Back At Every Urban Decay Launch of 2018
December 26, 2018

Urban Decay Beached Collection
Just in time for hot summer days, Urban Decay launched its Beached Makeup Collection featuring warm, paradise-inspired shades of bronzer, eyeliner, lipstick and of course, the limited-edition eyeshadow palette (gone but never forgotten).

Urban Decay Elements Collection
If you’re an astrology lover, you haven’t forgotten about the Urban Decay Elements Eyeshadow Palette. The palette is not only super pretty and ‘grammable, but it’s heavy and big — so you know it’s quality stuff. In addition to the palette, you can also get a Travel-Size Space Powder to shimmer from head to toe.

Urban Decay On the Run Mini Eyeshadow Palette
Last but not least, Urban Decay surprised us with three mini eyeshadow palettes inspired by the Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette, which launched back in June. The palettes are inspired by different hues and they’re perfecting for travel or bringing with you on the go.

We’re all about travel-ready palettes that contain nearly everything we need to complete a full face of makeup, fast. The Urban Decay Backtalk Palette remains a staple in our makeup collection, containing mauve-inspired shades of eyeshadow, highlighter and blush — with a retractable mirror to help you get your makeup done.

Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Ulta Cushion Lip Gloss
We hope you didn’t already forget about this plumping, vanilla-mint scented lip gloss. They come in four different effects: metallic, holographic, cream and sheer cream — plus they come in 23 shades.

Similar in size to the Naked Heat Palette, Aphrodisiac is compact for travel and creating day to night looks in a flash. The shades include three mattes and three shimmers — check out all of the swatches here. In addition the mini palette, the Aphrodisiac Collection also included three new shades of Hi-Fi Gloss: Aphrodisiac (sheer teal), Tongue Tied (deep fuschia) and Ghosted (sheer lavender).

Urban Decay Born to Run Collection
The Born To Run Collection was unique to Urban Decay and departed a bit from the brand’s usual packaging. Since the collection was travel-inspired, the eyeshadow palette’s hard-cased packaging is covered in real-life travel photos from Urban Decay employees — cool right? The eyeshadow palette is a must-have if you need access to a ton of shades when you’re on the go and obviously, the travel-size All Nighter Setting Spray easily makes the cut in our carry-on.

Urban Decay Sin Afterglow Palette
Inspired by the brand’s best selling highlighter, Sin, this palette easily became one of our favorites of the year. It contains blush on the top row and highlighter on the bottom to use individually or together to create something unique. Sadly, this one’s a goner, but if we’re lucky, maybe it will drop again one day.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Collection
Every new Naked Palette deserves a ton of hype, obviously. The Naked Cherry collection was no exception. The cherry-hued palette lives alongside the Highlight and Blush Palette, Travel-Size Cherry Scented All Nighter Setting Spray and two metallic shades of eyeliner.
