“I’m a firm believer that finding the right shade of blush totally completes any makeup look. Once I find that perfect shade I’ll use it daily until I hit pan. For a while now I have been in my orange blush era, so I was a bit skeptical to try this Legendary Berry shade, a pinkish-purple tone. This would be straying from my current blush comfort zone. However I was pleasantly surprised to find how well this compliments my skin tone! To apply the blush, I used my tapered brush, and just a few taps along my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose delivered the prettiest flush of rich color. Seems like I have officially entered a new blush era!”

“I’ve been a liquid blush loyalist for quite some time, and it’s been a while since I’ve used a powder blush. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this had the same rich, stain-like effect of a liquid blush, only in a lightweight powder formula. Fearless Coral is the perfect summery, just-got-back-from vacation shade and the soft-focus finish has a nice smoothing and blurring effect. I can honestly say this converted me back to a powder blush person. It’s my new mainstay!”

“While cream and liquid formulas are usually my first picks when it comes to blush, I have to say this might give some of my other products a run for their money! In the past, I’ve had some difficulty with powder blushes because they were chalky or hard to blend over the rest of my makeup. When I first applied this, I was nervous that it would be the same story, but I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of application. It’s a finely milled powder that’s so soft you can even blend it out with your fingers, which was my favorite way to apply! I especially love that it’s pigmented enough to give me a wash of color without having to go in with several layers, which I’ve found to be the case with some other powder blushes.”

As a fair-skinned girlie, I use blush to brighten up my cheeks and breathe life into my complexion, so I was super excited to try the new L'Oréal blush in what looked like the most perfect pink shade. Upon trying, my first takeaway was that you need the tiniest amount: This formula is certainly high-impact, but melts into skin beautifully with a sponge or brush. And the pink hue gave my cheeks a fresh-faced, flirty look. By the end of a long, sweaty day running around the city, my blush had barely faded. I’m definitely impressed and will be adding this blush to my current rotation!”
