Our Editors Are Obsessed With This New Valentino Beauty Concealer — Here’s Why

This concealer is one of my new go-tos. The shade LA2 is almost a perfect match for my skin tone, making it ideal for subtle under-eye coverage, spot concealing and even dotting all over as a foundation. One of my favorite features of this concealer is how easy it is to blend. The consistency is very liquidy, so even if you like to let it “marinate” for a few minutes before blending, it still looks completely seamless. I prefer tapping this out with my finger for the most natural coverage, but it’s also easy to build up and buff with a brush.

Though I have the occasional blemish pop up from time to time, I mainly use concealer to brighten up my under-eyes. I opted to try this one in a light warm option that’s a few shades lighter than the foundation I tend to wear because I knew I would be using it to highlight my under-eye area. I was excited to find that it worked perfectly for that task. Immediately upon applying and blending the concealer, my eyes (and the skin around them) looked way more awake and refreshed. I also fell in love with the velvety formula, which blended effortlessly and offered effective full coverage with just a small dot of product under each eye.

Recently, I’ve found myself forgoing foundation and using concealer to just add some coverage in some of my problematic areas. That includes under my eyes and on dark marks around the rest of my face. That's why I was really excited to get my hands on this new concealer from Valentino Beauty. I was surprised by its lightweight consistency, and being someone who loves a concealer that isn’t too heavy, that was a big plus for me. Tapping it out with a concealer brush, I found that it blended seamlessly into my skin while still giving some light-to-medium coverage. I find that it’s easy to build up the coverage with little to no creasing. It also conceals the hyperpigmentation and dark circles on my face. With that being said, I know this is going to be a go-to for me!
