Our Editors Share the Top-Rated Makeup Products They’re Buying at Walmart

Flower Beauty and Maybelline are two of my all-time favorite brands because they have an affordable price tag but are still high quality. I wasn’t shocked in the slightest that Walmart customers had given my go-to complexion products high ratings. The Maybelline New York Dream BB Fresh is without a doubt my holy-grail foundation when the weather starts to warm up. It provides sheer, but decent coverage, feels lightweight and has SPF (a must in my book!). Plus, the glowy finish is unbeatable. My other favorite among Walmart’s top-rated section is the Flower Beauty Kiss Me Twice Lip and Cheek Chubby.  It’s a multi-purpose balm that I can swipe across my cheeks and on my lips when I’m rushing out the door. Apricot-A-Lot is my shade of choice because I love how the peach hue instantly perks up my skin.

Without surprise, two of my favorite products live within Walmart’s top-rated section — the NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss in Ginger Snap and L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara. I’ve always been a fan of the Butter Glosses by NYX because they’re comfortable, hydrating and have a stunning color payoff even as a gloss. Ginger Snap is one of my faves because it’s a soft brown with red undertones that I love to pop on during the day or at night. As far as the Lash Paradise Mascara goes, this is my all-time favorite mascara. It makes my lashes look long, thick and lifted, and I won’t go a day without it.

E.l.f. Cosmetics has been a staple among my makeup collection since I first started wearing makeup back in the day, so I’m not surprised it’s one of Walmart’s top brands. The Clear Lash & Brow Mascara is a must-have for me. It’s perfect for keeping your brows in place all day, and I use the mascara side on no-makeup days when I still want to give a little oomph to my lashes without packing on traditional mascara. L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Matte Lip Stain in Empower is another absolute necessity every time I shop at Walmart. It’s the perfect hydrating lip stain that lasts all day and rarely needs reapplication, and Empower is the perfect pink to keep in my makeup bag for any occasion.
