Even as someone with dry skin, I found this product a little too glowy for everyday wear on its own, so I set my T-zone with a translucent powder and was much happier with the finish. This is not a foundation; it’s a lightweight, radiant tint that will help you achieve a glass skin look. However, Maybelline also says you can use the Glow Perfector as a primer, so I tried layering a semi-matte foundation on top to see if the two products would gel. I loved the added coverage and the dewy finish I achieved by mixing the products, and will definitely be reaching for this product on no-makeup makeup days when I want to look super glowy or to add a more skin-like finish to a matte foundation.
