And given that everyone spends an absurd amount of time looking at perfectly curated feeds on social media, the unedited fragrance campaign is a refreshing change of pace. “We’re living in a world where people are constantly comparing themselves to other people and what they’re comparing themselves to is unrealistic,” says Arjona. “A lot of pictures are edited or people have taken a million pictures to get the one to show to the world, and they have three pounds of makeup on top of their face. Yes, this campaign is photographed by a professional photographer, and it has incredible lighting, but that’s certainly what my face looks like, and that makes me feel happy.” 


In addition to keeping footage unretouched, Giorgio Armani also pledged a commitment to sustainability. The feminine, floral fragrance, which has notes of vanilla, tuberose, orange blossom and jasmine, not only comes in a refillable bottle, but all components — from the lid to the base — are recyclable. My Way is also a carbon-neutral fragrance, which supports the brand’s commitment to reduce its carbon emissions by another 25% and make all products carbon neutral by 2025.
